What A Jungle

I went to Rhode Island to visit daughter, son, and grandsons. In which one was still in her womb. But graciously God let the grandson who was in the womb be born while I was visiting. So while I was there taking care of my olest grandson I got the privilege of painting on his room wall. Had lots of fun. Coconut trees with his hand prints as grass. So fun.
I did not get everything done I wanted to get done thou. Maybe next time. :)

There are some jungle animal pictures that are to be hung up in there too. I had lots of fun staining, and making the frames. I have to find them first before I put them here.... til later. I found them...

Fingerprint And Talk Bubbles

I was trying to show them how to make pictures from their fingerprints but as you can see some were not, which still turned out very cute and they had a good time with this.

So Close

This has been fun to do. It is almost done.

Half Page Drawing

With this project, we used pencil then colored it.It was fun to do. It is a concept you have to learn. When Katie was doing her sun picture, she put a whole face on the half so it would have had two faces, so I had to help her understand that. I love the pictures they did. They had a good time with it.

Then today we did cube and some perspective drawings. This was fun. First we started off free handed with it, giving them a feel for copying and getting the concept of making a box.We had a great time.

It Is Bigger

If you did see the first picture of this, you should be able to see it has grown. Yea. It has been fun and relaxing to work on. Thou it will be nice when it is done. I learned a few things working on this project that, what a double crochet is, it takes patience, time effort and just plain out having to do some things over. So much for that.
Just an insert, I saw something in a magazine that oh my it would be so much fun to do with a group of children, no sew but very fun bed blanket. It is always so nice to do things that when you are done , you can see the fruit of your labor. And it don't just get thrown away or something. But I have this project in my mind to do, but maybe after I get back from RI.But her is the bigger afghan.

Prayer Square

This was the thought of this. That we would decorate a page, with pockets that we could slide slips of paper with the names of people that we want to pray for. I have mine by my bed side so it reminds me often to pray for our loved ones and each other.
